Day 1
Departure Toronto on board of the Transatlantic Flight.
Day 2
Arrival in Lisbon, followed by a sightseeing tour of this beautiful city. Overnight Lisbon.
Day 3
Depart for Santarem, one of the oldest cities in the world; walk its narrow streets to the Church of St. Stephen, holding the oldest recorded Eucharistic miracle. This miracle has been on continuous display since 1269 A.D. Continue on towards Fatima, where the Blessed Mother appeared in 1917 to the three simple shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. Overnight Fatima.
Day 4
Today’s visit will be to the Little Chapel of Apparitions, The Fatima tour’s begins with the beauty of this spiritual town, visit the Basilica, the site of Francesco and Jacinta’s graves, the Hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, site of Our Lady’s appearance. Join prayers with the other pilgrims. In the evening participate in the candlelight processions. Private devotions time. Overnight Fatima
Day 5
This morning depart towards the city of Salamanca; tour the city’s sights the Casa de las Conchas (House of Shells); the cathedrals; San Marcos and San Martin churches. Overnight Salamanca
Day 6
Depart to the quaint village of Alba de Tormes, visit the Carmelite Monastery, where St Teresa is buried and the little museum, view the incorrupt heart and left arm of the St. Teresa. Free time for lunch. Continue to Ávila; see the perfectly preserved 11th century walls surrounding the old town, Ávila’s have hardly changed since the days of Santa Teresa. Walk the footsteps of St. Teresa we depart for Burgos, the historic capital of the Old Castile. Overnight Burgos
Day 7
Depart Burgos for Loyola, birthplace of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, tour the 17th-century Basilica dedicated to St. Ignatius. Free time for lunch, then motor through the spectacular Pyrenees Mountains towards Lourdes, birthplace of St Bernadette. In the evening join the candlelight procession. Overnight Lourdes
Day 8
Free time at Lourdes, enjoy a video presentation of the story of Lourdes, Join prayers with other pilgrims, drink water from the miraculous spring or submerge yourself in the healing baths. Kneel in the chapel built on the very rock of the Grotto. Join the candlelight procession and group rosary. Overnight Lourdes.
Day 9
Depart Lourdes for the flight to Paris. Drive to Lisieux, touring the Cathedral and the home of St Therese, there on display are relics, clothing, and personal objects belonging to the “little flower Visit the Cathedral of St Peter and the Carmelite Convent. Overnight in Lisieux.
Depart Lisieux for Paris and start the Paris tour, visit to the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal. View the incorrupt body of St Catherine Labouret,
Day 10
Enjoy a panoramic tour of Paris includes Notre Dame Cathedral and Sacre Coeur and overnight Paris.
Day 11
Free morning at Paris and transfer to the Airport for the flight to Rome, Arrival Rome and evening free at leisure. Overnight Rome
Day 12
This morning , the Vatican City to attend the weekly Papal Audience or Blessing given by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI (pending papal schedule). Visit of the Vatican Museums, The Raphael Rooms, the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo’s Masterpiece, the Last Judgment. St. Peter’s Basilica and the grave of Pope John Paul II. Overnight Rome.
Day 13
Christian Rome, visit the Basilicas of St. John the Latheran, St. Mary Major, St. Paul outside the Walls. Evening, Rome by night (tour to the city centre by coach, see the main monuments. Overnight Rome.
Day 14
Transfer to the Airport for the return flight filled with cherished memories.
